Which Of These Four Lies Is Stopping You From Dealing With Your Trauma And Stopping Your Success?
I Do Not Have Time
"If you don't take time for your wellness, you will be forced to take time for your illness."
You only have one body and one mind, being too busy for counselling and support to deal with your trauma will eventually lead you to destruction, bleeding on others and continuous negative relationship even with your child.
I Will Remember Bad Things From My Past
Having a professional to talk to in Counselling saved my life - Sophie Turner
"60% of People who completed suicide refused Counselling when offered, 25% didn't engage in therapy before suicide."
Royal College Of Psychiatrists
Counselling does not make you feel worse, not going makes you feel worse and even kills and that is the fact. Mould grows in darkness, once you shine light and speak about your trauma with a professional like your counsellor here with us, your Therapist can help you unpack it and clean the mould permanently so sunshine can come in, ignoring mould will make it grow and infect the rest of the property, opening doors, cleaning it properly and shining light will be the best thing you ever do.
It Cost Too Much
"Going therapy increases your income, helps you build a happier relationship and find/keep better-paying jobs."
Research by British Household Panel
Here at Floating Counselling, we know that you matter and we want to help you and your family, so we have created a manageable cost that everyone can afford. How much do you place on your happiness? Even if we were charging £200 per session (we are not) is your positive future not worth it? Should we ask celebrities like Robin Williams how much they will pay for their happiness?
I Will Be Seen As Weak Or Disabled
"I am a proud Patron of counselling for young people, adults and families and every member of my family have and appreciate the power of therapy"
The Duchess of Cambridge - Kate Middleton
The British Royal Family all have counselling, Future King of England does not see Counselling as weakness, so why should you, he and his brother Prince Harry have been to Counselling and there is nothing weak or disabled about them. They have both confessed to the power, the importance and how helpful it was for their sanity and success.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to attend weekly sessions?
The standard therapeutic weekly sessions help you make gradual and steady progress that means you see real results. In some cases, your therapist will agree to two or more sessions per week, if you both deem it beneficial and they have the availability.
If you require more than one session a week, your therapist may be able to accommodate this, with a review as things start to improve for you.
Sometimes, however, the therapist you are working with will not have any other availability, so will not be able to offer multiple weekly sessions.
For couples therapy, do we have to attend all sessions together?
Ideally you will attend all sessions together as a couple. In instances where one of you is unable to attend, our therapists will see the person who can attend. The issues that arise in this individual session will then be shared at the next session when both partners are present.
I only want one session, will the therapist be able to help?
Generally, your first session will be used as an assessment and consultation, rather than for treatment. This allows you to identify your issues as you see them, fill in paperwork, understand therapy, and for your therapist to start to gain an idea of what your needs are. So, unfortunately, having just one session is unlikely to have any lasting benefit for you.
What is the difference between a Psychotherapist and a Psychologist?
In basic terms, a psychiatrist is a registered doctor who can diagnose mental illness and prescribe medication. Psychologists and Psychotherapists will offer talking therapy and would not typically provide diagnoses or medication (though they will have a good understanding of the diagnosis or even medication that might be applicable). Where necessary they will liaise with psychiatrists to support you further.
How experienced is my therapist?
All our Psychotherapist here at Floating Counselling are fully qualified, insured and have more than 10 years - 25 years of experience each, so we are very experienced in supporting you therapeutically.
The therapists are also all registered and accredited (or eligible for accreditation) with at least one of the following:
BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
BABCP - British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy
BPS - British Psychological Society
UKCP - United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy
What if I want to try more than one kind of therapy?
Our therapists are what is known as 'integrative', meaning we have trained to combine a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches to best help their clients. This means you and your Therapist with us will work using whichever kind of therapy best suits you and the issue you have come in with.
Will my counselling sessions be confidential?
Yes, counselling sessions are confidential. The exception would be if you were to pose a danger to yourself or others, in which case the relevant parties would be notified.
What issues can counselling help with?
Clients come to us with wide-ranging issues, including:
anxiety (panic attacks, agoraphobia, social anxiety, claustrophobia), workplace issues (stress, work-life imbalances), relationship issues (breakups, divorce, affairs, choosing inappropriate partners, loneliness, life adjustments, marital problems, arguments, jealousy, wedding and premarital issues), depression (including suicidal thoughts, low mood, social withdrawal), low self-esteem and lack of confidence, sexual problems (impotence, internet/ pornography/sex addiction, loss of desire, infertility)
trauma (including post-traumatic stress disorder from accidents, rape and other attacks/incidents), obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating problems (including bulimia, binge eating, negative body image), phobias and fears, abuse (including physical, verbal, and sexual abuse), bereavement/grief/loss.
Sarah Turino, USA

I have learned so much from Impact Parenting and Celestina. It was incredibly and well-rounded, that supported a wide variety of issues that parents face. I have teenagers children, and in the USA, the state I am in we have been homeschooling basically throughout 2020, Celestina is such an experienced and knowledgeable and dynamic Psychotherapist and teacher. All parents should try it!
Even, If you are not feeling frustrated or finding parenting hard, give it a try. You will learn so many tools and get so much support. Thank you, Celestina!
I am so grateful for the Impact Parenting pillar course. You are a terrific teacher.
Danya Denny, UK
Social Worker and Beauty Consultant at Body Desire
Due to stress and difficulty with my ex partner I was screaming and shouting at my son, which made him have really terrible 2'ce where he will throw himself on the floor and not follow boundaries. Coaching from Celestina helped me know his personality better and she gave realistic tools on how I can help my son be more resilient and help me keep healthy boundaries with him, in a loving way, to create a lasting secure bond.
It was so good for me to see and know myself better too, the workbooks and cheat-sheets allowed me to look at my past traumas and find healthy ways to move forward to be better for my children.
Niina Kabesa, Congo
Author and Founder of Mother Of Nations
As a mother of 6 from newborn to 18 years old, I learnt so much from therapeutic support from Celestina, I was able to adapt strategies to my real life and all my children straight away, and I am still using them 4 months later, I keep going back to the workbooks and resources given. I am a rape survivor, so past trauma and wanting to raise my children to be their genius individual confident self is really important to me and Celestina's teaching was able to break it down to allow me to adapt it to all 6 children lovingly. Every parent needs this
